Review - Edit for parents
The Legend of Zelda games are very popular with a wide range of different age groups. One of it's main target audiences, children, can benefit from these games quite a lot as it can teach children many different skills. Reaction time and co-ordination are the key skills that children can gain from their experiences with the Legend of Zelda games. The games main gameplay when fighting is not just a simple button bashing process, it's much more skilled, requiring the player to pay attention and press the correct button at the right time to be able to win. This can help stimulate development in these skills from a young age.

Review - Edit for Kids
Intro
Nintendo’s game The Legend of Zelda has been enjoyed by children and adults for nearly twenty years. Its high quality means that it is as fresh and exciting as new games that are coming into the gaming market today. It is set in the kingdom of Hyrule and the main aim is to rescue the Princess and to bring peace to the land. Along the way there are many interesting characters to keep you entertained and make you just want to keep on playing. Although the mission is simple there are many quests to conquer in order to complete the game.
Graphics
The new version of the game has much better graphics as improved technology has made the characters and settings bigger and brighter. However designers have worked hard to make sure that the new graphics stay true to the original look and feel of the game. Although the graphics have been worked on there are still some areas that don’t look as good as they could have such as the flat stairs.
Gameplay
The controls on this game are very different from the old version. It makes gameplay easier by having touch screen buttons for items that need to be quickly selected. The old controller was a bit awkward and difficult to use which is why it’s a good thing that they changed it around. The 3D is a really nice added touch to this version of the game as it makes the whole world more interactive. The only problem with the 3D is that it doesn’t work well when moving the 3DS around for the slingshot or bow. The screen goes all blurry and makes it hard to play the game, but other than that the gameplay is really easy and smooth to use.
Music
The music in the game is very good at setting the right mood at the right time. If you’re in a dungeon the music sets a scary sort of tone and if you’re in an open field the music is relaxing and sets a happy mood. The music is the same as the old version of the game and so to players of the old game the music will bring back good memories.
Verdict
While it’s not as good as the old game, the upgrades that this one has makes it very close. While there are a few problems it’s still a very enjoyable experience. It’s also good to know that the new generation of gamers can still enjoy a game made twenty years ago. Overall I think that this game is amazing and anyone with a 3DS should get it.
