Proposal – 2 linked pieces of journalism
Target audience; Gamers, (Casual, hardcore) 14 – 35 years old

Purpose; the purpose of my product is to inform and entertain.

Platform(s): My product will be a published piece, intended for a printed magazine.

Synopsis/summary of ideas; my idea was that I would design a gaming magazine which would cover many genres of games. It will include reviews, interviews, a calendar of release dates, fan art and much more. The target audience is quite broad as I’m targeting it to any gamer, from people who play games on their phones to people who play their home console on a regular basis.

My main idea is for a written review of one of my favorite games, I will voice my opinion on what the game did well and what didn't work so well. This will go alongside my next written piece which will be a question and answer with another fan of the game. This will include questions that I have written to ask the person. he questions will include things such as the players first impressions, opinions on graphics and game play.

Images/graphics/interactive elements; the printed version will obviously not be able to include videos but I could include some pen and paper games with different gaming mascots as the themes. If it was posted on a blog, I would include videos to coincide with the written up versions of reviews/interviews.

Resources; I won’t need many resources as most of it will be written so I’ll need a computer or a notebook and pen. If I shoot some videos I will need a recording camera. None of this will cost me anything as I have all of the equipment anyways.
